Portico clock in gilt bronze and white marble. The circular white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals underlined by ribboned reeds, the rim chiselled with frieze of interlacing, stylised palmettes and rows of pearls and flanked by two swans drinking from shells fed by a fountain with lion's heads. The lower part presents two allegories of the Source, one male, the other female, each surrounded by four columns with acanthus leaves topped by reeds and pine cones. The whole resting on a rectangular terrace with a frieze of palmettes and supported by six legs. Early 19th century. With key and stamp. 45,5 x 33,5 x 10 cm. (ornaments in gilt bronze to be refixed, the balance wheel is missing, very slight old chips in the marble).
