Important clock in patinated bronze and black marble, the upper part showing two female allegories of Hunting and Fishing leaning against a terminal revealing a circular white enamelled dial with Roman numerals. The movement signed BOURSIER Jeune, pupil of LEPAUTE in Paris. The circumference of the dial decorated with a laurel torus and a row of pearls, topped by a winged putto on vine leaves and flanked by reeds, fish and a hunting trophy. The base with black marble springs surrounded by a large laurel torus and resting on four claw feet. Late 19th century. With stamp. 48 x 83 x 26 cm. (glass protecting the movement damaged, important chip in the marble, missing key and balance wheel, accidents and missing parts).
