Infantry officer's saber, model 1821. Handle covered in chagrin, with filigree. Chased, gilded brass mounting. Two-branch guard. Curved, flat-backed blade with counter-edge and hollow sides, engraved, gilded and one-third blued. Leather scabbard with cut-out, line-decorated brass cap. EM (wear, oxidation, damage to leather, missing bolt).
