France, 1st Empire (1804-1814). Socket bayonet model AN9. All gray metal parts stained with traces of orange peel oxidation in places. Triple-slotted barrel and median ferrule. Stamped on the heel. Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings, the cap with button. (Scabbard folded in the middle, worn leather, shocks on the fittings, fairly good condition). 46 cm (Blade 40 cm).
