Glaive d'Infanterie modèle 1831 from the Manufacture Royale de Châtellerault.
Cast brass mount with 26 grooves. White two-edged blade in the pattern, with small stained gray patina. Markings on blade heel "Manufacture Royale de Châtellerault" on one side and "Mars 1832" on the other side and hallmarks. Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings. The sting is hallmarked "B" under a star in a shield and "85" in a circle (scabbard a little short. Good condition).
