Belgium, Mid-19th century. - Lot 263
Belgium, Mid-19th century. Lefaucheux-type pinfire revolver made in Liège. Cal 7 mm. Serial no. 44. 6 shots. All metal parts with slight gray patina. The frame and barrel are engraved with a floral design. The barrel is stamped "ELG" and "B" under the star. The frame is stamped "R" under the crown. Hexagonal barrel with rear sight (rear sight missing). Retractable trigger. Ivory grip plates. Rod present. Single and double action mechanism partly functional, trigger spring very weak, trigger does not return each time. Inside of barrel dirty with shallow scratches. 18 cm (barrel 9 cm).
