Great Britain, late 19th century. Model 1887 MK3 bayonet saber, used in India. Steel frame, pommel numbered 7995, black compressed leather checkered plates. White blade with good markings, including maker "Wilkinson Sword Company London" and stamped "WD" with war department arrow and "89". Black leather model scabbard with 2 steel fittings, the cap bearing a distinctive India use marking. (The scabbard leather is damaged in the middle and has been repaired. Good condition). 60.3 cm (Blade 46.7 cm).
