Unknown, late 19th century. Socket bayonet, model undetermined (US?), circa 1870. Socket with triple slit and median ferrule. No mark or stamp. All metal parts bronzed black. Beautiful black leather scabbard with two brass fittings, the cap with elongated button. (Good condition). 52 cm (Blade 46 cm) x Inside diam. case 18.5 mm approx. x case length 6.7 cm approx.
