Germany, late 19th - early 20th century. Model 1871 bayonet made by the "GEBR SIMSON in SUHL" Arsenal. Mounted in cast brass, grooved on one side, steel guard. Blade with slight gray patina, back stamped "G" and "80" for the year of manufacture 1880. Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings (good condition). 60 cm (blade 47 cm).
