Rectangular "Tronchin" system table in molded oak, the tilting top with adjustable inclination forming a writing desk, the waistband featuring four sliding drawers, one of which forms an inkwell. The whole is height-adjustable, the belt opening into a drawer, the double-sided fluted baluster uprights resting on four small castors. Small maker's plate bearing the inscription "Table - FÉRET, hygiénique, brevetée S.G.D.G, 16 rue Étienne Marcel à Paris, hors concours, membre du jury, diplômes d'honneurs". Late 19th century. Dimensions of closed table: 85 x 117 x 71 cm. (slight scratches).
