Yanis OURABAH Professional photographer Yanis Ourabah discovered his passion for the 8th art form in the early 2000s. A multi-talented artist, he specializes in institutional, sports, commercial, architectural, wine and food photography, eager to discover and meet new people. He produces reports for industrial and service companies, architectural firms, fashion brands and the magazine press, for which he likes to tell stories, and has been invited to sublimate the know-how of the prestigious Hermès group or the talent of Lyon's Michelin-starred chefs. A passionate sportsman, he has been snowboarding and skateboarding for over 25 years. His fascination with action and movement is reflected in his work, which led, somewhat by chance, to his encounter with classical dance in 2012. Since then, his work has been published in numerous French and international magazines. In 2012, Yanis Ourabah decided to take dance and dancers out onto the streets of Lyon by creating the Dance in Lyon project. His aim: to offer a different view of Lyon through an original and aesthetic project, placing dancers at the antipodes of their usual terrain of expression. A bold move that has earned it media coverage beyond the borders of the capital of the Gauls. Dance in Lyon is also the art of sublimating Lyon's architecture and heritage through movement. A project that continues to evolve in step with Yanis Ouraba's vision and practice of photography. The project continues in 2024.
