Piece in ecru silk satin and silk cordonnet, with flat pastel embroidery of a peacock surrounded by flowers, bamboo and birds in shades of gray, mauve, green, yellow and pink. A matching fringed grid surrounds the piece. Dimensions (excluding bangs): 91 x 88 cm. Asian work. Late 19th, early 20th century. (slight stains, small marks and soiling).
