Rectangular case in rosewood veneer and brass fillets, the lid decorated with a rectangular cartouche numbered SP, the sides with two hanging handles concealed in a scalloped motif. The interior is sheathed in purple moiré silk. Napoleon III period. 14 x 32.5 x 23 cm. (Slight cracks on the lid, a larger one on the bottom).
