Gouache on paper signed "E Beothy" in pencil lower right, monogrammed, titled and dated 1949 on reverse, and bearing the artist's stamp. 75.5 x 55.5 cm. Enclosed is a copy of the certificate of authenticity numbered 334 from Madame Ayin BEÖTHY. Provenance: Artist's family, Galerie ARNOUX, Paris, Private collection, Sale BLANCHET & ASSOCIÉS, October 28, 2009, lot 115. Note: This work was part of the exhibition "Django REINHARDT ou le génie du jazz manouche" at the Musée de la Musique from October 8, 2012 to January 20, 2013.
