Chased and gilded bronze clock with beveled glass on all sides and alabaster, topped by an antique-style vase, the circular white enameled dial with blue Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, signed BATAILLE and highlighted with foliage scrolls, three sides adorned with knotted flower wreath falls. The rectangular base is decorated with a frieze of pearls and stands on four flattened ball feet. With sunburst pendulum decorated with a face, key and stamp. Louis XVI style, 19th century. 43 x 20.5 x 13 cm. (small chips to glass and enamel, element to be refixed and wear to gilding).
