Rectangular cylinder desk in mahogany and molded mahogany veneer, the upper part covered with grey-veined white marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery and opening with three drawers, the central part with retractable lid revealing a removable brown leather-covered writing desk, a niche and three small drawers, the sides concealing two shelves, the lower part containing four drawers. The whole rests on four tapered, fluted and filleted legs. Bronze ornamentation such as key escutcheons (one with a cloverleaf), pull handles and sabots.
