In the taste of André ARBUS (1903-1969). Bedroom furniture in exotic wood sheathed in vellum and highlighted with gilded fillets, comprising : - a large rectangular chest of drawers with a slightly curved front, opening with four drawers in two rows separated by a central upright featuring a gilded wood relief feminine motif. The rounded uprights rest on four tapered legs terminating in bronze sabots. 95.5 x 169 x 152 cm. - a pair of bedside cabinets with curved fronts, opening with a drawer and resting on four tapered legs terminating in bronze sabots. 55.5 x 39.5 x 29 cm. French work, circa 1950. (A drawer handle is missing, a drawer needs repositioning and the top is slightly sunburned).
