Grand Duchy of Baden, circa 1830-1845.
Hirschfanger bayonet saber stamped "GH. 1. 4. 56. ".
Cast brass mount with 21 flutes, dovetail mounting groove on one side and long steel side spring, the quillons turned back. The cruiser is type-approved "GH. 1. 4. 56. ". Straight blade with stained gray patina and traces of oxidation, hollow pan and flat back, single-edged and counter-edged. It comes with a black leather scabbard with two brass fittings, the cap with button, damaged, the stinger and part of the leather missing (Wear and accidents, the blade tang twisted at the cruise, as is).
