Paul LESOURD & Fils - TOURS. Léonine. Large polychrome advertising poster for the "Léonine" lighting range, based on a design by René Louis PÉAN (1875-1955), printed by Imprimerie CHAIX in Paris, canvas-backed. 125 x 88 cm. (minor wear and tears). Note: At the end of the 19th century, LESOURD & Fils produced its own oils and petroleum, notably for lighting. Their refinery is located in the Grammont district of Tours.
