Large gilt bronze and regule clock featuring a Virgin and Child seated in an armchair, her foot resting on a cushion, behind her a gendarme-cap-shaped post topped by a book and highlighted by a garland of flowers housing the white enameled dial with Roman numeral hours. The rectangular doucine base is richly decorated with an ivy frieze and foliate scrolls. With stamp, key and balance wheel. Second half of the 19th century. 43 x 68 x 20 cm. (book to be refixed).
