A molded and carved walnut patient's armchair, with a backrest that reclines by means of a rack and pinion system, armrests with cuffs concealing two wrought-iron pulls, recessed whiplash consoles, scalloped waistband and the whole resting on four small cambered legs ending in a scroll. Decorated with rocaille motifs, stylized shells and florets. Circa 1730-1740. Beige studded velvet upholstery and cushioned seat. 123 x 68 x 80 cm. (accidents, missing parts, cracks on three legs).
