Step desk in mahogany veneer and brass fillets. The upper part opens with a central door flanked by two arched niches with beveled glass backs. The middle part contains three drawers, the flap forming a writing desk and revealing a light wood interior opening with four small drawers. The waistband conceals a drawer, and the whole rests on four tapered, fluted legs, fluted with brass asparagus and joined by an H-shaped brace centered on a spinning top and terminating in four ringed feet.
