Small mahogany veneered "bonheur-du-jour" desk, the upper part forming a tier with three drawers and two glass doors revealing a shelf. The top is crowned with a white veined marble shelf encircled by a gallery. The middle section forms a writing desk, embellished with a green leather blotter stamped with a small iron and enhanced with gold. The belt opens with two drawers. Resting on four tapered legs. Bronze and brass ornamentation such as an openwork gallery, beaded frames, drawer knobs, lock escutcheons, rings and sabots. Louis XVI period. 115.5 x 67.5 x 42 cm.
