Imperial Russia, 2nd half 19th century. Royal and Imperial Order of St. Stanislaus (founded 1765). 3rd class cross in 14-carat gold and red enamel from the Keibel firm in Saint Petersburg, manufactured before 1896. On the hoop, title mark "56" (for 56 zolotniks, 583/1000th gold) in use from 1865 to 1896. On the backs of the arms, "AK" (for Albert Keibel) goldsmith's hallmark and official supplier to the Court. Good period ribbon. (Minor wear to ribbon, good condition). Dim. 4 x 4.3 cm. Gross weight: 10.42 gr (without ribbon).
