Fine replica of a percussion pistol model William Parker of London, for black powder shooting.
Cal. 45. Serial no. 3355. Italian manufacture. Long bronzed octagonal barrel, marked on the upper sides "W. PAKER" "BLACK POWDER ONLY - CAL 45" and "MADE IN ITALY", with dovetail-mounted sights and rear sight. Percussion lock, double trigger including stecher under trigger guard with finger rest. Finely checkered walnut stock with short barrel. Functional mechanism with two clear, play-free cocking notches. Inside barrel with minor surface oxidation and deep scratches. (Small traces of oxidation and rust bloom on the lock plate, missing a metal insert from the keyway on the barrel, otherwise in good condition).
