Trench Knife model US 17, impacted.
Wooden handle, iron guard with seven "diamond points", oxidized, with "US L.F. & C. 1917" marking on reverse. Beautiful black-tanned triangular blade with small traces of rust blossom oxidation in places. Complete with its olive-green leather scabbard, the metal fittings oxidized. The scabbard bears traces of splinter impact.
In its original condition, never previously collected.
35.5 cm (Blade 22.5 cm).
(Accidents and patina of time, the scabbard leather is detaching from the chape. As is).
