Male mallard decoy in thin felted cardboard. - Lot 144
Male mallard decoy in thin felted cardboard. Patented and manufactured by the famous cartridge manufacturer GÉVELOT in the United States. 1950s ? Made from two sheets of cardboard sewn together, with a thin strip of wood inserted between them for planting in the ground. These decoys are extremely rare, no doubt due to their extreme fragility and limited production (for the same reasons). Sold by 6 in a paper pouch. Very good condition. 28 x 46 cm.
