[Manuscript] François Rollinat (1806-1867), Maurice's father - Lot 602
[Manuscript] François Rollinat (1806-1867), Maurice's father, Indrew deputy. Very interesting manuscript beginning with 32p of considerations starting on November 10, 1848 and ending at the coup d'état of December 2. This is followed by numerous pages of miscellaneous accounts and reflections. Bel-Air (their property in Ceaulmont, Indre) is mentioned several times. The accounts go up to 1866. Among François Rollinat's reflections, let's note these two, which show that he was a very moderate republican for his time: "Vive la Rép. - à bas les prétendants - à bas les sots - vive la France" (November 12, 1848). "Report everything to God, in his acts, and therefore his thoughts, accept everything, suffer everything, do everything so that his will be accomplished" (November 1854?). The volume also contains two inserts with numerous historical references, in fine, tight handwriting. A fine document
