Akobus, Two carved walnut bas-reliefs decorated with soldiers and engraved with humorous comments.
One is titled "RETOUR DE PERMISSION" engraved after a drawing by Albert Guillaume", signed "AKOBUS" and dated 1919.
29 x 23 x 2.5 cm.
For the other, "You'd like to be a dragon, wouldn't you, infantryman? - Me? No, I'd rather be a horse, because I'd have a dragon to wash the place where I don't bite", signed "AKOBUS" and dated 1917.
37 x 27 x 1.5 cm.
(Wear and minor accidents, fairly good condition).
