France, 18th century. Officer's sword with shortened donkey step, without scabbard. Mounted in cast brass, with vertically grooved olive pommel topped with a rivet button. Spindle with quadrangular cross-section and copper filigree. The guard plate is missing. Grey blade with traces of oxidation, shortened. (As is). 43.5 cm (Blade 27 cm).
