Oval planter in veneer and marquetry of various woods, the removable tray decorated with a trophy of musical instruments revealing a green lacquered zinc interior, the straight belt decorated with foliage scrolls, the whole resting on four tapered, fluted legs joined by an X-shaped brace.
Gilt bronze and brass ornamentation such as handles, gallery, underlining moldings, ring, asparagus and decorative motifs.
Napoleon III period.
