Two-part curved display case in floral marquetry of various - Lot 314
Two-part curved display case in floral marquetry of various woods, the upper part in the shape of a "chapeau de gendarme" centered on a leafy pediment opening onto a door and glazed sides, the jambs projecting. The lower part forms a chest of drawers opening with three drawers in three rows, the crosspiece scalloped. The whole rests on two claw feet enclosing spheres at the front and two straight feet at the back. Dutch 18th century. 197 x 120 x 62 cm. (Accidents, missing parts and restorations, notably to a rear leg that needs to be restored).
