France, Louis-Philippe (1830-1848), percussion pocket pistol, circa 1840, approx. 12 mm caliber. All metal parts with white polished finish. Smooth round barrel. Chests without decoration. Retractable trigger. Walnut stock with flat cap. One-two cocking mechanism partly functional and in need of revision, trigger and hammer spring too weak. Inside of barrel with minor surface oxidation and rust bloom. Complete. 19 cm (barrel 8 cm). (Wear and minor wear, chimney crushed. Fairly good condition.)
