Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, late 19th - early 20th century. Black patent leather helmet with silver-plated metal trim. Front plate with coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, crenellations on oak leaf branches. Cavalry-style tasseled chinstrap. Notched cockades model 1891 in the colors of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin on the right side and of the Reich on the left. Inner leather cap with truncated wolf teeth. Complete. Worn (helmet in its original condition, with minor wear and tear. Not common. Good condition).
