Kingdom of Prussia, late 19th/early 20th century. Black patent leather helmet with granite finish (patina of time), nickel silver trim. The visor and neck cover are edged with a ruffle. Small point on pearled base and lanceolate cross. Crowned "W" faceplate. Black leather double chinstrap. Officer's-style serrated cockades in the Prussian and Reich colors. Inner leather cap with truncated wolf's teeth. Complete. Worn (helmet in its original condition, minor wear and tear, visor rim damaged, not common. Good condition).
