Prussia, 1st World War. Ordnance saber, without scabbard. Blücher cast brass mounting, long-tailed spoon-shaped cap, topped by a riveted button with ring, auricular guard. Watermarked black celluloid handle. Scarlet wool tie. Slightly curved blade with small gray patina, hollow front and flat back, manufacturer's logo on the heel, concealed by an auricle. Comes with a leather strap with silver passementerie floche. 84 cm (Blade 71 cm). (Wear and tear. Fairly good condition).
