Germany, WW2. Schirmmütze of the Deutscher Reichskriegsbund "Kyffhäuser" (Veterans' Association). Dark blue woollen cloth top, woven black silk headband depicting the "Kyffhäuser" monument alternated with swatiskas. Front badge in painted brass and tricolor cockade. Black patent leather chinstrap. Visor in black vulcanized fibers edged with a black ersatz canvas trim. Inner cap in waterproof orange canvas with silver logo under mica "Deutscher Reichskriegsbund Kyffhäuser..." and sweatband in natural leather and black velvet (Peküro) with silver mark "Stirndruckfrei Deutsches Reichspatent". Complete. Worn. (Wear and tear. Fairly good condition).
