Japan, 2nd GM. Air defense officer's cap. Black woolen cloth top, black mohair headband. Front insignia in gilded cannetille embroidered on background cloth with a gilded aluminum motif in the center. Black leather and oilcloth visor. Black leather chinstrap held in place by two small gold-plated brass buttons. Black satinette inner cap and black leather sweatband. Manufacturer and size label "56 ½". Complete. Worn. (Wear and accidents from use, sweatband damaged with missing, a few moth holes on top. Fairly good condition).
