Rectangular portico clock in chased and gilded bronze. The entablature is underlined by a frieze of gadroons, the spandrels decorated with dragons, the sides centered on circular medallions with lion heads. The bezel is decorated with the twelve signs of the Zodiac, and the dial is enameled white with black enameled hours and quarters in Arabic numerals, signed MATHIEU in Rouen. The uprights are smooth columns with foliate capitals and lower parts chased with lozenges. The rectangular base is decorated with stylized palmettes. With stamp, key and pendulum. Restoration period. 36 x 22 x 14.5 cm. (slight gilding wear).
