France, 2nd Empire (1852-1870). Chassepot model 1866 bayonet saber, by Manufacture Impériale de Tulle October 1868. Molten brass frame, the cruise with traces of oxidation and no serial number (missing). Stained gray yatagan blade with "Manufacture Impériale de Tulle Octobre 1868" marking on the back. Steel scabbard in its original black oxidized tan, without serial number (missing). (wear and accidents, push-button damaged and missing, as is).
