SÈVRES, 19th century, IIIrd Republic period, 1890. Circular porcelain plate decorated with polychrome enamels and gold in the center of a medallion with a bouquet of flowers au naturel. The wing is decorated with palmettes on a blue background, with a "grecque" frieze surrounding the medallion. Manufacturer's stamp dated 90 on reverse. Diameter: 24.5 cm. (a hair on the rim, mostly visible on the back, and a chip on the rim on the reverse of the plate). Note: This plate comes from the restocking of the flower service for the Palais de l'Elysée, commissioned by Emperor Napoleon III. Expert : Marie-Pierre ASQUIER
