Chased ormolu clock featuring a cherub with a bow holding the movement on its back. The dial is signed DESTAPE PALAIS ROYALE, and the rectangular base is decorated with a garland of falling flowers and fruit supported by a bow. The whole resting on four small flattened feet. Restoration period. With key, stamp and balance wheel (reported). 42 x 22 x 10.5cm. (wear to gilding).
