France, Louis-Philippe (1830-1848). Model 1831 infantry sword, privately made by "TALABOT PARIS", without scabbard. Cast brass mount with 26 flutes. Stained gray blade with traces of oxidation, with two carp tongue cutting edges with triangular flattening at the heel with "TALABOT PARIS" maker's hallmarks and a second illegible hallmark. The hilt is stamped "128" and an illegible hallmark. Tie missing. 64 cm (blade 49 cm). (Wear and tear, small shocks on the frame, as is).
