Infantry saber called "briquet", AN XI model, without maker's mark or hallmark.
Mounted in cast brass with 28 grooves and single-branch guard. Slightly curved, flat-backed blade with small, stained gray patina. Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings and button cap. In its original state, never before in a collection.
70 cm (blade 57 cm).
(Wear and tear, play between tang and frame. Fairly good condition.)
