Belgium, mid-19th century. Lefaucheux system pinfire revolver made in Liège. Cal 11 mm approx. Serial no. 22727. 6 shots. All metal parts with small stained gray patina. Cylinder stamped "ELG" and "q" under crown. Round rifled barrel with rear sight. Trigger under trigger guard. Frame and barrel chased with scrolls and foliage. Finely checkered black ebonite stock plates. Stock ring missing. Steel ramrod present. Functional single and double action mechanism, with a clean, play-free cocking notch. Inside of barrel oxidized with shallow scratches. 28 cm (barrel 16 cm). (Wear and tear. Fairly good condition).
