Morocco, late 19th - early 20th century. Nimcha sword, circa 1900. Steel frame, wooden handle with silver-plated metal ring and guard with three quillons facing the blade. Slightly curved blade with gray patina, flat back and throat near the back. Silver-plated metal scabbard richly chased with arabesques and decorated with cabochons of gems, with three suspension rings, two of which are on the clevis. 96.5 cm (blade 80.5 cm). (Wear and minor wear, minor bumps on blade edge. Good condition).
