Japan, Empire of Japan (1868 to 1945). Traditional samurai kimono in black silk, the interior in woven polychrome silk depicting a scene from the naval battle of Tsushima (27 and 28/05/1905). Presence of a calligraphic inscription meaning "honor and thanks to Admiral TOGÔ". Presence on the outside of the family Mon printed on the shoulders and nape of the neck. Worn. (Uncommon wear and patina, good condition).
