Japan, Empire of Japan (1868 to 1945). Sunrise military parade flag, circa 1920-1940. Rectangular in printed and calligraphic silk. Double-sided, edged on three sides with blue-violet braided silk bangs. In two corners, brass metal rings reinforced with gold-lacquered leather. In the upper corner, a cord with 2 tassels. The calligraphy must correspond to an attribution. 92.5 x 67 cm.
