Germany, 2nd GM. MG "Gurtsack" stripe bag for armored vehicle. Made of feldgräu canvas. Manufacturer and date stamped in the metal parts of the lid "bdt 42". Complete. (Wear and minor accidents, oxidized metal parts with rust blossoms. Fairly good condition.) Provenance: attic of a château in the Nancy region, annexed and occupied by the Germans in 1914 and 1940, then by the Americans in 1944.
