Large silver-gilt monstrance, the glory topped by a cross and centered on a beveled glass custode flanked by the four evangelists. Ornamented with cabochon turquoise set in stylized foliage. The radiant sun in the background alternates with beaded rays and forks. The shaft, swollen with a blossoming flower and decorated with red glass cabochons, rests on a poly-lobed base decorated with scrolling roses. Master goldsmith: Edmond-François LETHIMONNIER (1828-1869). 19th century. In its original wooden case covered with blackened paper. 74.5 x 36 x 18 cm. Gross weight: 2,356 g. (minor accidents and missing parts, notably on the spokes).
